Do you require me to sign a contract or make a long-term commitment?
Absolutely not! Unlike most tutoring services, Appleton never requires you to sign a contract or make a long-term tutoring commitment. You can discontinue tutoring at any time, for any reason. We want to earn your business…not guarantee it through a contract!

We cut out all the unnecessary expenses that other tutoring services have. Since our services are done off-site (at locations such as your home, a local library, or a community center), we don’t have all the overhead costs of other tutoring services that have to maintain large facilities or “centers.” By eliminating unnecessary expenses, we are able to cut our costs and pass the savings on to you!
How is Appleton different from other tutoring services?
Appleton is very unique and is literally redefining the tutoring industry. At Appleton, we don’t focus on curriculums. Instead, we focus on the quality of our tutors. We only accept about 10% of the people who apply to be an Appleton Tutor. We vigorously screen every applicant to ensure that they meet our standards. We match students and tutors based on several different criteria – including subject, grade, personality type, learning style, etc. This ensures that each student is paired with the perfect tutor for their individual needs. This process of matching students and tutors together based on a variety of criteria is one of our key differences. Most tutoring centers only have a few tutors to choose from…so they don’t have a lot of discretion in which tutor is best for each student. At Appleton, we average over 60 tutors per location, which allows us to match your child with that one tutor who is best suited to meet their needs!
How is the tutoring you do going to improve my child’s classroom performance?
Appleton’s ultimate goal is to maximize each student’s potential and help them achieve their individual goals. Often, this means helping them do better in school. Unlike a lot of other tutoring services, Appleton follows the curriculum being taught in your child’s classroom. A lot of tutoring companies have their own curriculums that are almost always different from what is being taught in the classroom. This can sometimes confuse a student on which method is best to use. Rather than doing this, we focus on trying to help your student understand what is being taught in the classroom. We will partner with your child’s classroom teacher and try to follow what’s being covered in class. As a result, your child’s grades will likely begin to improve almost immediately.
