Does your child need a tutor? |
|
A lot of people think that tutoring is only for students who get bad grades or struggle in school. However, this is a misconception that has developed due to other tutoring companies focusing only on those students who struggle. While tutoring is in fact one of the best tools to help students who struggle, it is also a great resource for students who don’t struggle.
Having a private tutor can help ANY student…regardless of their performance level…improve their learning and maximize their potential. At Appleton, we often think of our jobs as more than just tutors…we think of ourselves as “Academic Coaches”.
Our goal is to help every student achieve their own personal goals. If a student is struggling, then the goal may be to help bridge achievement gaps and improve their grades. If a student has motivational issues, the goal may be to help build confidence and foster a desire to learn and excel. If a student is advanced, the goal may be to help them lift the bar even higher and explore their own untapped potential.
So are you asking yourself, “Does my child really need a tutor?” If so, consider this question… “Could my child benefit by working one-on-one with an expert tutor who is going to encourage them to continually do better?”
